How long does it take to receive my gallery of portraits?
You will receive access to your portraits via an online gallery within four weeks of your portrait session.
How are the digital images delivered?
For the Simplicity and Basic sessions, digital images are delivered via download from your online gallery. For the Keepsake session, digital images are delivered via both an online gallery and USB drive. You may share your online gallery with family and friends. The online galleries are social media friendly, making sharing your favorites quick and easy.
How long will I have access to the online gallery?
Online galleries are available for 30 days. Please be sure to complete all downloads and create backups of your digital images prior to the gallery's expiration date. Any print orders should also be placed during this 30-day period. There is a $50 service fee to republish a gallery after it expires.
How many portraits will I receive?
All sessions will have between 25 and 35 portraits in the online gallery. For Simplicity Sessions, you will select your five downloads using the "Favorites" feature in the online gallery.
Can I upgrade my session after receiving my online gallery?
Yes! Of course you can upgrade your session! There is no fee to upgrade a session after receiving the online gallery.
Is a print release included? Can I print my photos at a lab of my choice?
Yes, all sessions include a print release along with the digital images that are included with your session and you can make as many prints of the photos as desired for personal use. You may also share your photos online.
For the best quality and experience, it is encouraged to order prints (especially enlargements) through Fleeting Moments Photography. However, should you wish to print photos on your own, lab recommendations will be included when your gallery is delivered. Please note that the quality of paper and ink used at big box store labs is often inconsistent. Fleeting Moments Photography cannot account for print results at other labs.
What if my session is rained out?
Shooting outdoors means that sometimes Mother Nature interrupts our plans. Should your session need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather, I will work with you to find an alternative date as close to your original session date as possible. Additional information on rescheduling is available in the session agreement.
Can I bring more than one outfit?
For family sessions, I strongly recommend selecting only one outfit (especially if you have little ones) because it helps give a cohesive look to all the final portraits, plus it typically eats up too much of our shooting time if several people are changing clothes. For senior portrait sessions, most clients bring two to three outfits. For engagement sessions, most clients bring two outfits. Tips for planning your session wardrobe will be sent to you prior to your session.
Do you have locations you can recommend?
I love when clients have a special place they want to do their session because it's always fun to shoot somewhere new. Also, I've been to some awesome places that I would have never been able to shoot at if it hadn't been for the client's connection to the property. If you don't have any location ideas, no worries! I am happy to make a location recommendation. We will discuss this at the time of booking. Also, if you have seen a location in my portfolio that you love and would like to go to for your session, please let me know!
